For sole traders, a company number is not required, but we may ask for your UTR number and other supporting information to confirm the account is suitable for trade supply.
Do I need a website to apply for a trade supply account?
No you do not need to have a website to apply for Trade Supply. However, you must be able to verify your business status. Applicants need either: A limited company number if applying as a registered company. A UTR number if applying as a sole trader.
